“I built a community with my @fairliecurved Instagram page, giving styling hints, tips and outfit ideas for fuller-bust girls before I even thought about starting the business.
But once I launched our first product, which was developed due to requests from my followers, I realised that solving problems I had experienced myself was so rewarding. It builds trust and never really feels like a hard sell. It also encourages conversation and recommendations.
Everyone loves talking about something that solves a problem and makes life easier for them, so the majority of our loyal, repeat customers have found us through a recommendation from someone else. It creates its own marketing too.”
