Good afternoon
Darker nights, mean darker stories. And we don’t mean a night in front of Halloween on repeat. Yet again the economic and geopolitical news cloud is brooding and sinister. So, we thought we’d lighten it up with some heartening tales of entrepreneurship against the odds.
Redundancy might be on the up. But so is starting a business. We spoke to the fantastic Ryan Panchoo about how he turned ‘probably one of the scariest moments of his life’, into an award-winning business employing 16 people - with global ambition.
There’s also been a few bumps in the night for the Employment Rights Bill. The Resolution Foundation, usually one of the Bill’s biggest supporters, has suggested the day-one rights to an unfair dismissal due to come into force in 2027, might be a step too far. We look into it here with Enterprise Nation adviser Rona Loweth to the rescue.
Delegating means spending hours helping your employee do something that would have taken you five minutes. Or does it? We look into the art of delegation that won't slow you down.
Finally, AI SEO doesn’t have to be a horror show. Enterprise Nation adviser Suki Randhawa has some superb tips here.
